O’ Mother, O’ Father

O’ Mother,

Your pale face brings the winter.

Tilted smile, blessed the harvest.

Half your love, saved the voyager.

We wait for the night you show your full face.

O’ Father

Your wrath starved the child.

Ever present.

With your might, brought the new day.

Send your love, so that we may grow again.
