Rara plopped down on the couch beside me, eating her chocolate bar angrily.
“Ugh, guys are so dumb,” she said, huffing. “You know what Corey did today? He hung out with this girl after work. The one I told you about.”
“The one that wanted to date him before you?”
“Yeah, like what the fuck? Then he said he didn’t know what to say cause she asked him to hang all of a sudden.”
I ate from a bag of chips while Netflix played.
“You know how guys are,” I said.
“Yeah I know…” Rara sighed. “Lyci, how do you cope with being alone?”
I glanced at her, then focused on the television a bit more than usual.
“Umm…I have hobbies.”
“Yeah, but aren’t you lonely? Don’t get me wrong, guys are dumb but…i’ve never seen you date.”
I shrugged. “I’m not lonely. I’m alone.”
“Not really…” I was missing my show.
“Maybe I should break up with him,” she said.
“Hmn…maybe…but what do I know.”
